Quintain Estates and Development PLC are currently undertaking one of the largest regeneration projects in the country on the land surrounding the new National Stadium.

Work to create new retail and leisure opportunities has commenced  and the first phase of construction to deliver a refurbished and re-orientated Arena facing a new public square was completed at the beginning of April 2006.
