Wembley Park hosts a wide range of events; from family-friendly spectacle-based running events such as ‘Color Run’ and ‘Holi One Festival’ which culminate in explosions of coloured powder and musical performances; to serious running events such as ‘Survival of the Fittest’. For the more sedate there are free screenings of Wimbledon, a motorbike stunt festival organised by Ace Café and regular official buskers as well as an ice rink at Christmas.
The SSE Arena is the UK’s most iconic venue and hosts over 100 music and entertainment events a year, from world-class music acts to The X Factor Finals.
Wembley connected by EE hosts the FA Cup Semi-finals and Final, League Cup Final, Football League playoffs and England Internationals. As well as the 2011 and 2013 UEFA Champions League Finals, it will host games in the 2015 Rugby World Cup. The Stadium also shows the NFL International Series, Rugby League Challenge Cup Final, as well as major concerts.
